Loki Creative is an award-winning branding and marketing studio based in Gastown, BC. We are looking for a passionate and engaged Social Media intern.

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Assist Brand & Marketing Specialist with managing client accounts
  • Create engaging and shareable content (Video content in particular)
  • Liaise with the greater marketing team to effectively manage and amplify social media content across appropriate channels
  • Assist in influencer marketing campaigns
  • Respond to comments and messages in a professional manner.
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns
  • Collaborate with other teams within the agency (e.g. creative) to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Support content creation across digital platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Remain up to date with current social media trends and events, proposing and testing new concepts and strategies to build further brand awareness across our social platforms

 

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented self-starter that is able to take a task and run with it.
  • Confident with making video content for TikTok, Instagram reels etc
  • Being comfortable in front of the camera is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices in particular TikTok and Instagram
  • Experience with software and graphics editing software such as Adobe Photoshop,  InDesign, Illustrator, Canva and Capcut
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of branding and marketing principles
  • Ability to prioritize and balance workload while working under high pressure, frequent ad-hoc requests, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Must currently be enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Marketing or Communications program at a post-secondary institution

 

Eligibility:

  • Full-time or part-time student enrolled in an accredited Canadian college or university.
  • Studying any discipline, at any diploma or degree level.
  • Resides in Vancouver, BC for the duration of the internship. 
  • Hold Canadian citizenship, Permanent Residency or refugee status (International students are not eligible).
