The new Public Outreach brand identity is driven by the identified dual key strengths. Public Outreach’s passion to create a collaborative, joyful and fun place to work for it’s team goes hand-in-hand with its excellence in service; engaging with the public and acquiring high-quality donors.

The Challenge

Public Outreach needed a new brand identity solution that clarified the new services that they offered and bringing the organization into the digital space while keeping the brand equity they already had from the many years of great work for the community and for their partners. The new identity needed to work both for their recruiting and fundraising arms promoting them not only as a unique and fun place to work but a leading presence in charitable fundraising. The new identity also needed to work in both French and English with the company’s branches stretching across English and French speaking North America.

What We Did

Loki led the Public Outreach team through a well-defined process to distill company values and changing mission. Through discovery sessions, questionnaires, research, and analysis we defined a foundation on which would act as the direction of the new brand identity.

The Solution

Loki Creative worked with Public Outreach on an updated and unifying brand strategy as well as a brand identity system that can work across the different service arms of the business.

The brand identity was created from its position, expressing it across digital and print media, presenting the young, forward-thinking, passionate company. The logo contains multi-layered meanings, representing the communication and engagement service Public Outreach provides, as well as strong company culture and emphasis on team. Public Outreach’s original brand colours have been updated and modernized to move away from their previous “Ikea blue and yellow” referred to by staff. The developed end result is a palette that retains the recognition built, while being the company’s own.
